Snowflake Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Snowflake Data Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines using Snowflake, ensuring data integrity and efficiency and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using Snowflake.
• Integrate diverse data sources, ensuring data is correctly ingested, processed, and available for analysis.
• Optimize database performance, including query performance tuning and resource management.
• Ensure high levels of data quality and integrity through robust testing and validation processes.
• Stay up-to-date with new Snowflake features and advancements to implement innovative solutions.
• Python scripting
• Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Create and maintain knowledge base documentation of data workflows and technical specifications.

Experience: 2-4 Years

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• 2-4 years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on Snowflake.
• Proficiency in SQL and SnowSQL.
• Experience with any ETL/ELT processes and tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica, Airbyte, DBT etc).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with data warehousing and data lakes
• Proficiency in Python
• Good working knowledge of Snowpark libraries
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
• Snowflake certification (e.g., SnowPro Core) is required.
